Scion of the Bloodmoon-Child of loss

Post by Inariel H »

Name- Inariel Hellgate

Nickname- Inari

Physical Traits

-Inariel stands 6'7 and weighs in at 250 lbs. Contrary to his broad stature he is more of a Magus than he appears. Born with elvn blood his vessel is in tip-top physical shape. His ears are pointed resembling bat ears. Inari has several slits on his body that he calls his blood from.

- His hair is a flagrant scarlet red. It grows brighter as his naten flares.

-Fox-like eyes the hold mystic powers that Inari does not simply see people places or things he can see and with enough focus, read "echoes" of naten that things give off. In other words he can see the flow of naten in all things. He does not remember faces in a traditional sense but "faces" of the entity through their spirit Naten signature. After absorbing an orc-kin her can now see with tradtional vision. Able to shift between the two.

-His fangs are all razor-sharp making rending through steel and flesh a simple task.

Parents:

Malka Myotis Hellgate. A Progenitor( Council Member) of one of the nine founding families. Now deceased Inari found out who she was through a blood drop enclosed in a locket left for him. He still does not know the name of his father but has seen his face in his mother's memories.

Species: Myotis Hellgate family. A species of bat elvs that evolved through the ages. Though his Birth rune eludes to even greater potential. He knows nothing beyond this, or where even to find them.

Central Pillar:

Inari is a creature with no recollection of his past. Beset by a myriad of voices foreign to him he gained consciousness in the Forrest of Resonance not knowing how he got there. A being unique to the Mother as he holds a strong connection to plant life able to communicate with animals and spirits of all kinds. He was cared for over the last 7 months by a nature spirit known as "The Wood". It taught him how to tap into his sway of naten which reawakened in him the means to access his Anthem. Though it awoke a terrible hunger.

Contrast Pillar:

After wandering around for weeks without a destination in mind Inari found himself beset with a exhaustion that he thought meant he was near the end of his rope of life having not fed in such an extensive length of time... the thing is he was never sure what it is he craves. He is plagued by a constant sensation of longing...a void in the pits of his being that he fights tooth and nail to both resist and understand. Recently he has been harassed by a vision of a horrifying nightmare. A terrible roar and a red eye.

Active Pillar:

Since awakening Inarius has had some very impactful encounters that have given way to some epiphanies. The Zenith of the Scarlet night he awoke, he had a run-in with a group of villagers, who resided in a town that used the fruit of the forest he stumbled into as a means to provide for their people. Those same villagers had hired an Orc-kin mercenary by the name of Bora. A ravenous aura enveloped both Inari and the world around them causing him to shift form into a feral beast with unprecedented strength. While the villagers were able to escape with their lives thanks to Bora confronting the beast head-on, Bora himself met a horrific end. Overcome with the insatiable urge to overpower and dominate Bora, Inari devoured him Via "Consume". Doing this altered Inari's physical form causing him to resemble an orc. After this, he awoke in the town of Lundao where he was held on trial and reverted back to his normal form after a fated Encounterwith Nagase Hellgate.

She, fulfilling her duty as a daughter of Vesta, chose to follow Inari and keep an eye on him lest lost control and tried to kill someone else, in that case, she would kill him without hesitation. Since killing Bora Inari found that several things about him had changed...grown.

His vision was interchangeable. Able to now see the vast array of colors and physical forms of the world around him. His physical stature had grown slightly and he had all the worldly knowledge and experience Bora held. This began another battle within Inari as he tried to decipher not only which memories were his own but also having been made aware of the complicated spectrum that emotions exist on. This created the urge for him to finally leave the woods and find out about the concept of family...his family.

He took her to his den, and it was there that they were approached by "The Wood" who he thought to be the manifestation of nature itself. Though he now knows this being to just be one of many faces that Vescrutia's envoys choose to wear. She reveals to Allen that the essence of life echoed twice within him and that he and Nagase were connected. Alluding to the possibility that Inari was of two bloodlines. Half of two wholes. This in turn led Nagase to take Inari deep within the Acrix to a library owned by the Urizen. Where for the first time he witnessed Modern society through his own eyes. Though a bit on edge he acclimated fast. Largely due to the team he was on. Consisting of notable members of the Astral who all had long-standing connections to the King. It was difficult for him to lower his guard and trust them...he managed to do so long enough to accomplish his goal of reaching the Library and uncovering the truths within.

Eventually coming across a tome that through the memory of the wood assisted him in being able to open a tome written in an ancient Evln language unique to the Myotis. Through his blood, it was opened and spoke of the Bat elvs. At the time of this discovery the city was under siege by an agent of the Horseman; A ravanger, The Bone Golem named Drought. A battle that was more instrumental to Inari than he first realized. It was during this fray he learned the usefulness of teamwork but also gained more insight and memory concerning his bower. With each encounter, he was regaining core principles surrounding his strange anthem. It is also the first time he tapped into his second heart...his Ava. Through the combined efforts of the squad, the beast was ultimately put down.

After meeting with Zeik, the leader of the Astral chaos, Inari confirmed that he was of Hellgate lineage, of the founding nine families. The Myotis. Sensing the latent potential in Inari, Zeik urges him to experience the Amaris Path and unlock the chains of his heart. He obliges him and though this meets his Mother, Malka. It was through this encounter that Inari was able to make sense of the confusing emotions that Bora held for his Mother and Father...Love...and also Loss. Malka had lost her life long ago along with his father. However, using an old blood ritual placed within her blood the means to relay not only a message to her child but also bestow upon him an Ancestral Fox spirit of the Myotis; Amrit. She warns him that his soul is currently at war with itself but not in the ways he thinks, that he is being sought by Astral Hunters who are after something hidden within his blood. As to what it is she does not have time to say for the ritual only allows for limited response and time. As it fades she beckons him to make a promise...that no matter what he would survive and find The Myotis.. this he swears to do.

His journey eventually takes him deep within the Vareth Bog where he runs into a mysterious phantom that hints at knowing some other Verison of inari claiming to be the one who gave him the name "Allen". Though just as quickly as the phantom came it left leaving him with mixed feelings as to what was fact and fiction. Was this the only life he lived? His mother also poked at the Idea, claiming that he had lived this life thousand times over. Did the voices he heard when he first awoke to this world belong to some other version of himself? Or another being altogether.

As he pondered this Inari was confronted by a ferocious pack of wolves whom he could tell were being controlled by a force that held a great vehemence towards him. After vicious tearing the pack apart Inari left one alive remembering that he held the ability to perceive hidden truths via ingesting blood he feed off the wolf revealing the nature of its master. A two-horned Demon. Sooner after the arrow tip of a native met him to the Bogs. An elven woman who turned out to be the Great Granddaughter of the leader of a tribe of elves who made their home in the bogs. The Elder one revealed that they were "The Alondra". Finally...after several months a piece of the first riddle he encountered was brought to light. They were the Keepers of 'E'vanoris' massive trees that regulated the vast amount of natural energy in the lands. The Alondra were up against a foe known as "The Opposed" who turned out to be the two-horned creature he witnessed through the blood of the wolf. It seeks to possess their magical knowledge and also to gain control over the conduit they used, E'vanoris. Inari during his confrotation with the demon discovered that it in fact was one of the Hunter his mother warned him about. Villainous Fae sent by the nefarious forces hunting him down.

Crossing Pillar:

Since the start of his journey, Inari has met and connected with quite a few people. Nagase and Zeik Hellgate, Alaude Nightwing, tempest, The Myotis Hellgates, and the students of Ars haven.

Anthem:

Mikado Fae Soul Unlike demons, who are the festering amalgamations of mortal souls twisted up into reflections of negative and spiteful emotions, Aymara Faerie's are a type of Fae born from the more "reputable" mirrors of mortal nature, often polar opposites of specific demonic counterparts. The "Mikado Fae" is the epitome of those faeries within with power comparable to and, in some cases, surpassing that of Arch Demons. Mikado are master of the spiritual arts able to wield mana nigh instinctually. Manipulators of aura they are able to weaponize their spiritual wavelength to achieve all manor of feats unique only to their chosen expression.

Guardians Nether the possess

Inari has a practically passive ability to sway and mold his flow of naten as if it was second nature. Making him a swift efficient magic wielder. What makes Inari an alpha amongst his breed is his ability to manipulate aura. Though he is capable of using his blood much longer than most Crimson fae he has learned that by using conforming his naten into aura he can cut out the middle man and use his magic much more freely and without nearly as much backlash. He can also manipulate the flow of energy in other beings or things given enough time.

Inari, when in control, has a terrifyingly unwavering will. He is a force of nature. It has been what has held his sanity together while juggling the plethora of voices and memories that reside within him. When he finds a path, his primal core urges him to achieve, do what must be done, and overcome any and all things that oppose him. His blood is incredibly infectious and can mirror the poisons that he comes in contact with, assimilate the invading entity and grant him control over the essence.

Plant Magic: Inari's primary use of his magic aside from blood manip. By using his magic-infused blood as the catalyst he can give life to numerous pieces of plants that possess a myriad of abilities and purposes. From a small flower to a forest of semi-sentient plant beasts. He is also able to conjure up various kinds of poisons are quite resistant to them. If he ingests a foreign poison he can use his magic to possibly metabolize it and replicate it adding it to his arsenal.

Birth Rune: After learning of his mother and being given a locket that contained a drop of her blood Inari gained knowledge of her and awakened his Birth ruin. A "Late bloomer" his mark did not manifest until he learned of his Hellgate lineage. The rune manifests itself in the form of a Crimson "B" outlined with silver energy. His birth rune is known as "Progenitors Aria' which only appears in those with 10 stranded DNA. Granting him the knowledge and experience of its past wielders. With this Inari has gained access to the treasure trove of Occult knowledge/ martial wisdom hidden in his bloodline, greatly furthering the depths of his magical abilities and revealing several truths about himself.

Myotis Arcana- Abilities unique to Myotis Evls.

Skill name: Inherited Mastery
Skill Description: When a hellgate dies, their children receive their parents karma. This process however is done by will, not by force. Few Hellgate's have, but they could always decline to relinquish their karma to their kin. For Inari whose mother was an incredulous sorceress particularly Blood Magic. He has inherited her knowledge of the of this archaic form of magic allowing him to able to preform a litany of magical feats limited only by his imagination via the manipulation of his own blood.

Blood Knowledge Transference- Those of the Myotis have the ability to transfer memories and even certain skill sets between each other via blood. Typically what can be shared is only spurts of information between Kin. Inari however is able to intentionally draw what information he desires to know and can do this regardless of whether a creature's origins.

Lunar Enhancement- Myotis are deeply connected to the Vescrtuian moons and as such are empowered when basking in their light. Physical abilities and magic suffer an increase while their risk of frenzy increases.

Partial Vamprisim- They can trigger partial Vampirism, even without lunar light. Allowing them to create sharp bones from their elbow, and sprout wings from their backs.

Element Natures: Water, Earth
Skills/Abilities:

Fester Lvl:2 Inari sways his Flow of life with a vocal begging. Opening the buds on his hands and allowing his blood to cascade upon the earth around him, he then saturates the ground around him enforcing a melding of his naten with the already existing energy beneath him granting him the ability to manipulate both his blood and the neighboring botany. Much of Inari's current ability comes from whimsical and free from use. He can control the size of the festering space ranging from a single spec of blood up to at least a small town.

Reach Cea: By beckoning his flow to take shape Inari can create clawed tendrils when initiating this technique he automatically spawns that are about 10 meters in length each. These tendrils are basically a part of Inari and react with lightning-like reflexes and speed. This coupled with his natural ability to see Naten. The power of such a simple command should not be taken lightly. These appendages can alter shape, sharpness, viscosity, and length/width with but a single thought from Inari making this call one of his most versatile. What is truly frightening about this technique is the borderline sentient response to protect and defend Inari. When directly attached to Inari these tendrils respond purely on instinct and can strike in a tenth of a second making it quite difficult to avoid.

Dominate Lvl2: The first step in the blood ritual magic that is Unique to those of the Crimson Fae. This is by no means a small feat and depending on the target can take anywhere between seconds or hours. Under the energy of the ritual, his blood mirrors an aggressive magical virus that must spread and circulate through the host in order to hack and reprogram the cells one by one causing them to reflect his DNA and submit to his will. After enough of these cells accumulate and make their way to the brain Inari then uses this army to wage war on the brain.

He does not simply dominate a person's brain and controls them (Such a method is far too barbarous for him). He instead enthralls them. Once he is inside he becomes you...or rather you become him. Inari sifts through every inch of a being and invades every crevice if a crack in the psyche exists he will find it...if a void exists he will fill it. He learns your fears, your desires, your dreams, and insecurities, and at that point in time, uses that influence to swim through the wave of conscious and subconscious. Shutting down the creature's cognitive functions. It becomes genetically impossible to tell a part of yourself from a part of Inarius. When it gets to this point he is in complete control and whatever information he seeks he gets.

This power however is far from absolute. Much could be done to prevent this level of dominance. If the invasion is stalled or stopped, either through the circumvention of the blood cell growth or if a creature can withstand and overpower his will, or if they have absolute self-control of their entity and foreign germs cannot survive within them.

Consume lvl:1 An ability covered in fog. Inarius does not fully understand this ability simply because he cannot comprehend the origins of his urge to feed, nor what is correct for him to feed from. Bloodlines, though, what they stood for, what they were, knowledge...seems to be the most stimulating thing to him. The reason he does not hastily use this technique is that not only can he not partially feed he struggles with the desire to only feed from one being. When Dominance has been asserted and his prey can no longer resist him, he takes back all that he has given. He does not simply take, like an avaricious thief he robs them of their very essence. Using his ability to dominate in culmination with his ability to manipulate his blood( And by him assimilating a being their blood becomes his.) he drains them. Through blood and flesh, he can learn all there is to know about a person. He toils with this because he cannot be certain if it's the blood he craves or the knowledge it holds. He must be physically touching his target to take them.

Weapons: Though he is a caster his unique heritage grants him proficiency with certain weapons.

Claymore Proficeny- Via Bora's blood Inari has the swordsmanship of a battled hardened Orc-kin warrior.

Spear/Polearm- As a child, Inari's weapon of choice was the Spear. He has much knowledge around this weapon as in many of his fights it become a staple of his expression.

Bio:

Awakening: Day 1

When the light has taken its toll on the realm around us what is it that cools our weary sundried souls? Parched, we search for what exactly? Something to calm...to quell. Darkness it was this force, the smell of the night that tantalized him. Allen a living enigma, a relic from a world long forgotten. His eyes opened resting lazily on his gaze of the moon. Incomplete, unfinished. Like a cosmic mural of nature abandoned by its creator. His body felt numb. Unmovable, practically catatonic is how he laid upon a patch of earth barren at least 2 meters around him. No life was sustained near him. A mental fog perplexed him. Where was he? Who...Who was he? And why was life fleeing from around him? The rest of the forest...he longed to see it. But to do so he had to get his being out of this lethargic state...This was his first experience of intent.
