"I am glad you have found humor where there was none..."
The golden fur of the Crown rose in anticipation, he could sense the unease in his guest, but even more so his unmitigated aggression. It was a stark contrast to the way of his people, but they remained silent.

"It was as if the very winds were given life, a twisted with eyes that pierced like...well ours. With wings that spanned into eternity. It said only one word before leading me here..."

Snaaaarrrrrlll
Inariel Snarl alerted the guards who were waiting just outside the door, their ears pressed against the wooden frame, ready to risk their lives to save the crown

"Get down, Aurelius!"

The guard said as he burst through the door, his fangs ready to seep into the flesh of anyone who raised their sword against his king. Aurelius head whipped around, meeting the young guard with a stern and wrathful expression, one that scared the guard into tip toeing out of the room, gently shutting the door behind him, apologizing for his intrusion.

Aurelius:Pay no mind to my allies, they aren't use to seeing humans here, infact many of them have never seen a human directly. Their....is a fear of human kind, which...is shared among most elves. I liked to believe you can understand that, but...the snoring of resting kin, seems to agitate you more than I would have expected.

"Home..."

His eyes drifted gingerly from the snarling conspire to Aurelius...a moment of softness at mentioning the word...and then they returned to their hardened, piercing glare.

"Like ours? Home...you can't mean?"

-As Aurelius continue in conversation with the man before him, they couldn't shake the uncanny feeling that there was something deeper connecting them. As the dialogue unfolded, they gradually uncovered the truth: the person he was speaking to was a lost descendant of his people, a revelation that stirred a profound mix of emotions within him. Amidst the hum of the room, a palpable sense of awe and reverence settled, as the weight of this newfound connection permeated the air.

In that moment, the crown's demeanor softened, his usual aura of authority giving way to a quiet contemplation. Feelings of humility and responsibility washed over him, intertwining with a deep-seated sense of pride in his heritage. Across the room, eyes met, conveying a silent understanding of the significance of this encounter.-

"You're myotis? Is this appearance some manner of sorcery, perhaps a glamour?"

He assumed they got so defensive because of his sudden use of naten. Though anxious himself his earlier words were harmless enough. Inari had a habit of poking sleeping bears finding glimmers amusement in testing the nerves of others. He was glad that the current crown was above such petty whims. Though it seemed those who followed him could learn to lighten up, and interesting though coming from Inari. He supposed he was becoming a bit more...worldly in that way.

It seemed the gravity of his arrival was beginning to take root. For both them and himself. It must have been eons since they have laid eyes on a another of their kind not a resident of these caves. In his visions of the past hew saw the splendor of what the Myotis used to be. It was more than sufficed to say, the civilization a shell of it's former self. in which ways though he was still observing. It was a difficult analysis to be sure. He was uncertain as to which of them were the true anomaly Inariel with his more primal nature, or Aurelius' and his, more composed approach.

He rose slowly feeling their stares at every move he made

"It is the form I have held since birth, those of the Crown contest were just as surprised as you are."

He moved his hand leisurely through his long flowing red hair

"Inariel Myotis-Hellgate; And as of today, next in line to stand as the next Crown of the Myotis family"

His tone carried something akin to pride but not quite so, even spoken out loud it carried an inkling that he still did not fully grasp the weight of that title. Nor the blood that flowed through him.

The face of the golden fur elv face twisted in myriad of feelings; confusion, anger and a tinge of disgust. His emotions were as plain to read as his twisted face, spilling into Ineriel minds without resistance. He waved a seal, locking the door from within and stood to his feet.

Flashes of images pierced the new comers minds with unpredictable timing. They were visions. Visions of betrayal, slaughter, and hate. The tension in the room began to increase as Aurelius mulled over his thoughts and reflected on the implications of Ineriel statement and his own past.

"...A human skinned elv, you must be mistaken. Sounds more like a Fairy;but, I don't care to debate which order you belong too. If you are of myotis blood and you fought in the crown jewel of Solara Acrix...then you have wasted your time.

The Other 8 Hellgates tribes will never accept you as long as one of them, so long as you belong to our lineage, partly because of choices we made under the Lunar influence of the Blood Moons but also....the Holgurd Crown is an enemy to all elves."

Aurelius seemed agitated, almost threatening in his posture and Aura;but, before his guest could ready his stance he sat down and took a deep breath.

"If we are truly family and you survived the crown jewel. Then your right to lead is both written in blood and law, you could be our champion in these dark hours.

This tiny hole in the wall is the only place we aren't hunted by the Holgurd assassins. A grim reality that the other crowns seem complacent with."

Despite the viciousness of the barrage of visions Inariel’s expression from his proclamation before the gold fur did not shift one bit. For this tale of betrayal was not only one he knew well from experience but the Wizard King had already shared the truth of his people past. The shame that Aurelius tried to hide behind his candid smile and pedestrian welcome. The bringing forth of his discover his lamentation but also the fury hidden breath shined bright like the gleam of a dagger hidden beneath a well decorated cloak. That tension he exuded is what changed Inari expression not to one of sympathy no far from it. It was a satisfied grin..
The Other 8 Hellgates tribes will never accept you as long as you belong to our lineage, partly because of choices we made under the Lunar influence of the Blood Moon but also....the Holgurd Crown is an enemy to all elves."
“Is that your true concern Aurelius? The…fancy of the other families?”

His eyes narrowed as he allowed the vehemence of his breather the sleeping lion of his blood to briefly awaken. The quickening of the gold furs heart was like a laden ballad that told a story eons old. It was almost as if Inari himself could feel the very weight of the Myotis bloodline upon his shoulders…and the more they allowed guilt to place them in.

“Yes, The Holgurd. Their barriers were…impressive and yet even their blood was shed by these claws, if these…assassins are anything like them. Then your fears and complacent living like gutter rats in these caves are …unfounded”

Inari raised his hand before him Aurelius’s pointing grimace sat within the it’s center.

“But I do not lament the deaths of those who I slayed in the Crowns. And not becuase their deaths brought me joy…”

His fist closed tightly as his grin faded and a look of upmost confidence replaced it.

“Because those who I faced those who lives I took were those of warriors . Ones whose pride as such demanded I not wallow in pity for them…doing so dishonors the essence of the warriors heart.”

It was odd… Inari natural instinct when met any form of aggression was to return it in kind if not doubly so for his need to prove himself superior often over shadowed his vice for rational thought. However for one reason or another Inari did not find himself returning his kin defensive invigoration m… in fact, he almost wanted to celebrate it.

“How did it feel Aurelius? To feel your heart beat more than a mile a minute? To feel an emotion other than false placated complacency? The anger that flowed through …its hymn calls to me like a moth to a flame…”

He walked closer to him grabbing a chair and sitting directly in front of him is like green eyes humming with intrigue and power.

“We have all done things under the call of the Scarlet Moon that are…regrettable. But why is it you have chosen to the marred to but only one aspect of your past? So long has it been since any of the Acrix have seen our kinda they were in disbelief that I entered…but I not only entered gilded crown I reminded the whole of the Solara the entirety of the current crowned family that out blood and power are alive…more than alive… but more powerful than ever…”

He leaned in his forearm bore before Aurelius.

“You showed me nothing of the past that was in the times I’ve studied. The times that predate the Advent, the time when we were of the most noblest and revered in the 8 whose approval you frolic in fear behind! It was not only our power and presence they revered but the notion that we were directly born of nature and protected her so readily. The blood of those once known as Vescrutia lightest defenders course through both you and I, scions of ancestors who once sat as equals upon the council of crowns.”

He took his fang and shot slit his wrist producing a bead of his illustrious blood. The blood flowed freely from his wrist and began levitating in the air before the former crown. Inari's ability to freely manipulate his blood might catch his compatriot off guard but nonetheless it sat before Aurelius just waiting to be consumed as it coalesced before him.

“Let us converse where the truth cannot be hidden by regrets and guilt. Let my blood speak of who and what I am. I want you to show it to me… share with me more than just your fetid lamentation, show me the memories of who you were…who we were before grief stole away your pride…feed from me…”

The Myotis ability to convey through blood was something his mother showed him possible. It was how he learned the truth of his heritage and how he spoke with her for the first time. Within Inariel flowed the purest font of sanguine nobility and should the gold fur choose to partake…they would be able to have a conversation that only the Myotis could. It was his hope that through this the gold fur would once again relieve not his days in the mire of regret. But see the ocean of prosperity they hailed from…for Inari to wished to know what it was like. The Myotis in their prime.
