An Open Invitation

Post by Zeik »

Both of Vescrutia Suns loomed ominously over the bright white sands of The Acrix desert. The winds werent just hot, they were electrically charged. It was no mirage, no trick of the eye if you saw flashes of electricity among the swirling white sands, to light to resits the winds forceful tug.
He loved it. He’d wander this desert for days, especially when he needed a chance to detach from his many responsibilities.

“I’m in luck. There’s a sandstorm brewing, roughly an hour away. It’ll hit me in less than an hour.”

He said calmly as he began to stretch ;starting with his arms and paying special attention to his legs.

“A spike...in naten? Out here?”

He said calmly as he continued his stretching routine.

His senses were correct, rarely would they mislead him;but, even he was beginning to question himself. His eyes darted across the vast plains, searching for an indication of what was approaching him;but, he couldn’t help but feel like he already knew.

Out the corner of his eye he caught the sands...dancing, forming all manners of geometric design-shapes he’d never seen before.

“Impossible...That magic hasn’t been seen on Vescrutia in ages.”

He muttered under his breath, his brow curling in disbeliefs. Without a moments hesitation, he tore his shirtsleeve from his top and quickly fashioned himself a blindfold to protect from the raging sand storm.

A strong gust wind and energy crashed into him, rustling his footing among the shift sands of the Acrix. He had his suspicions about the familiarity of the energy he sense, by that man was long...gone.

“There, the Naten is coming from over there.”

He exclaimed while turning to meet the direction of the approaching man, seconds before another wave of energy swept past Zeiks body-this time safely crashing into his signiture firey Aura.

“That...energy? A horsemen’s scheme? No... that’s impossible, Khrona?”

He asked softly as he peeked from behind his blindfold for a moment to marvel of the desert phenomenon created by the Khrona’s naten. He waged the sands were more a reflection of Khrona’s excitement;but, they were blocking most of the light-save, for the illumination of his Aura.

He was in disbelief. Neither Khrona nor the other Kage’s of the Great Villages have been seen for centuries. Lost during the insanity of the Horsemen's untimely revival, the same event that leveled the Great City of Kemet...had claimed countless other lives.

While drifting through his thoughts on whether to trust his senses of his ego, a certain statement made by khrona peeked his interest.

“Reached your highest self?”

He said quizzically, raising his brow along side his curiosity.

“Now, how can you be sure of that? When you haven’t seen me, in ages.”

He shouted, pushing the sands away from his feet with a flick of his right hand, leaving him floating over an gradually grow pit and still surrounded by high sand ceilings. It was always like this on Vescrutia, friends and enemies alike.Their passion was always best expressed in battle.

“Well, what are you waiting for?! You already KNOW what I’m thinking!”

He shouted while reaching his hand into his flaming Aura and pulling out a small ember that he kept in his hand.

“Khrona! You knew before you even came to this desert here what my ANSWER would be!

He said with a warm smirk from behind his blindfold, while adjusting his stance.

“Don’t you, Tensei!”

"Before I Left, I Had Already Known About It, But Was Never Able To Achieve It. The Thirteen Restrictions... I'll Show You What It Means To Have Reached The Pinnacle." A miniature Blue Moon manifested in Khrona's uplifted hand, then rolled out of his palm and into orbit around his head. Moments later, his head dropped back down, eyes closed, mouth barely open. His arms shifted to an X shape across his chest as his body became swaddled in sand, which immediately crystallized into a cocoon of sorts with only Khrona's head and Moon freed from the wrappings. 'I'll Show You How Far I've Come Myself!' Khrona would say psychically toward Zeik.
It took a minute to see and fortunately he had the time he needed. Rushing into a conflict with any creature on Vescrutia carried its weight in danger;but, this was on another level.

Naten is used to connect to other forms of matter, albeit physical and beyond. Yet, this...matter of transmutation was outstanding. Rapidly degenerating matter into a base or malleable form?

“Hmph. You’re still talking? Didn’t you fall into that trance to conserve energy?”

He said with a cynical smile, testing the emotional readiness of his old companion. All the while surveying the situation from the perspective of Origin Vision. The faint hue of its activation may have gone unnoticed thanks to his blindfold, but Zeik wasn’t banking on that anonymity.

“The density of that shield isn’t going to be easy to break through, but I doubt he with inside to hide.”

-He thought to himself.

Suddenly, Khrona took a deep, powerful breath, and a great deal of sand congregated at the back of his throat through his nose, the naten being shifted from its grainy state to a crystalline purity, which could only be visibly seen with a yawn given by Khrona. That fluctuating crystal energy gargling in the back of his throat grew in size and power, rolling something like a dragon's flames in the depths of its throat before it was about to breathe fire. Simultaneously, the Blue Moon that orbited his head suddenly flew over to Zeik's area, erratically zipping around as if trying to confuse him... Or perhaps, set itself up in the best position to strike him. Whatever this miniature satellite was doing, it was all to the benefit of Khrona, whose crystal energy continued to grow in concentration and power until it reached the tip of his tongue and the edges of his lips...

His eyes, though covered in the black cloth of his tshirt, reacted to the sudden shift in function of the Blue moon. Origin vision sharped not only his visually prowess, but more synchronized and refined information of all of his sense. Allowing him to precisely perceive naten at its purest form.

Khrona’s makeshift Moon attempted to bombard him, showering him with dangerous beams. They were met by flaming hands, paws and wings roughly 15 feet away from Zeik’s body. Just Incase of violent explosions.

The flaming appendages came from his Aura and continued to indiscriminately protect The Astral King, leaving his mind free to worry about the real threat.

“Can’t talk with a mouth full of sand?”

He said calmly, while continuing to hold the blue ember he’d pulled from his Aura earlier. His eyes deadlocked on the swirling, rolling mass of energy building up in Khrona’s mouth.

“Come FORTH, My Animus!”

He shouted as he fashioned the ember in his hand into a wispy blue Katana of his core element.

“You really should know better, Khrona.”

He said dryly before he brought both of his hands to his blade and quickly swung the wispy Katana over his head. He took a deep breath.

“Hellfire.”

-He exclaimed with his out breath, shouting against the roaring winds of his growing conflict with Khrona. His Aura flared in response to the rapid release of the white burning naten flowing into his flaming Blue Aura. The release was volcanic, engulfing his Animus and drowning the area in the same intensity of Vescrutia’s brightest star, Sirius.

The sand beneath him was instantly vaporized by the sheer heat of Hellfire. Each member of the Vesta families Anthem, had a unique property and Zeik’s was devourist by nature. Rapidly accelerating matter to the same equilibrium temperature of his flames and devouring the raw Naten- effortlessly. Anything with the range of his radiation would feel the draining effects of hellfire and the closer you were to the heat....-

'Hahahahaha...' Laughter bellowed throughout the sandy region, the psychic force undulating the sands as the mental force was released. That, and the sparkling, shimmering beam of transparent energy that shot out of Khrona's mouth as a vicious blast of moderate proportions. It screamed across the desert sands as the force of his untamed yawn, bursting through the sandy terrain between them and immediately heading for Zeik's direction in the blink of an eye.
“It’s coming.”

He muttered under his breath before lunging sword first toward Khrona’s screeching beam, his body disappearing into burst of flames, leaving only a blazing trail to mark his path. The sands wrote the tell for those without eyes to see as Zeiks aura incinerated everything to naten, allowing his blade to cleave through the flickering remains of Khrona’s Beam- poised to severe the head from the flying, yet sleeping, snake.

'Though it may sap him of a little more power than he would initially have liked to conserve, his brain was big enough to correspond to multiple tasks at once... Especially when it was his brain split several times over. 'Epic Art...' he called, '... Multiplication.' A series of different Khronas each glowing a different color and serving a different purpose split from the original crystal one, which remained stationary. The colored crystal Khronas would suddenly move in a variety of fashions; some warped whilst others flew by, but none remained in the immediate area... However, they did not leave the vicinity of the desert land.
“Multiplicity?!”

'I Do Know Better,' the Great Mind spake as Zeik neared, the Hellfire nearly licking the top of his forehead before the light emanating from Khrona's mind suddenly brightened to the point of blinding, it being a sign of Khrona's greater-than-lightspeed mental activity. This bright light was so intense that it was actually a blight to the mind and not the eyes, causing a brief blindness in the brain whether or not the eyes made contact with it or not. That was Khrona's sliver of an opening before the beyond exceedingly swift Zeik could lob his crystalline head right off with Hellfire.
-The light was blinding, even more so with Origin Vision active, staggering him justly. He skid across the sand holding his eyes in agony. Hellfire reacted defensively by sprouting large flaming blue claws from his aura that dug deep into the white sands of the Acrix desert, slowing him to a halt and leaving deep, flaming, lacerations on the ground, that connected to an elaborate design scorched into sands.

Large dragonic wings sprouted from his aura and wrapped around his body, while towering over him was the dragonic maw of his Pact Beast, The Diedren. The dragons maw opened and unleashed a flurry of flames that spiraled around them, allowing the wizard the space to regain himself. He wiped the water from his eyes and flung the droplets into the scorched sands.-

“A Flare! Perfectly placed? Manually?!”

-He said through gritted teeth. His naten taking but a brief moment to break him from Khrona’s mental stagger. He continued rubbing his eyes, loosening the makeshift blindfold overtime and reveling an Infinite array of colors pulsing from his Iris..

He’s not fighting alone?! Somethings relaying information to him.

He thought to himself with the borrowed time his pact beast allowed him, but that time was brief. The whirling pillar of hellfire created by the Diedren scorched heaven and earth, but didn’t harm a hair on his masters body. Even Zeik’s clothes were specifically designed to withstand the tremendous heat of his Anthem.

The pillar of hellfire twirled high into Vescrutia’s lower Atmosphere, before suddenly crashing to the ground and bursting into numerous flaming sprites-quickly racing across the desert, igniting the path that he’d carved out for them in the breakneck speeds of his previous attack-conveniently in the shape of a large, pentagram.

The light faded a fraction of a second later, and Khrona was gone, leaving only the words, 'I've Analyzed Your It nformation Down To The Very Last Strand Of DNA.' Though no sand could bear the heat of the Hellfire as it fluxed, that which was not returned to its purest state of naten would rear up as a powerful swirling sandstorm that covered the entire area and then some, forming into a great tornado of sheer sand and force. 'I Also Remember... Who You Are.' The sandstorm was so thick that nothing could be seen for miles because of it -- not that this mattered to Zeik and his blindfolded Origin Eyes, but it did serve its purpose. He should have seen the naten of the sandstorm start to take shape as the illusory image of Khrona within the sands, but also... As a large container that was quickly enclosing the area without warning.

Khrona’s ominous, sandy, visage appeared in his shadow, he could feel the peering eyes drilling through his mental barriers.

Rapidly shattering the mental wall between them as he arrogantly proclaimed his absolute control over the situation.

“hmmm? An improvised prison? You alone...can’t hold me. Not even the abysmal grip of the Minds Void could contain this power-Hellfire.”

-He chuckled lightly as the sand piled together to form what could only be described as a apocalyptic phenomenon-to the uninitiated.

However great the king may be at never showing his weakness ,the massive accumulation of naten and constantly shifting states of matter was overloading his senses. It was difficult to ascertain a precise location of Khrona’s real body;Yet, still the Astral King chuckled and began a series of hand signs.-

“Hmph. Your eyes deceive you Khrona’s and your arrogance is only fueling your delusion.” He paused.“0.0035.” .

“Hellgate’s would have mastered the holographic strands in a day if spirit and prowess could shatter the boundaries of limitations alone. Your knowledge of Hellgate dna is relative to percentage of the visible light to the human eye—leaving ,much to be desired.

-He said calmly. His back facing the ever growing sand storm, while he finished a series of unique handsigns.-

Now, with the Hellgate contained and the sandstorm crystallized as a transparent pyramid around Zeik, imprisoning him, the true Khrona appeared again, his body phasing in from what seemed like complete invisibility and intangibility; complete clarity of the crystalline substance. Even the naten was invisible when Khrona disappeared, for the naten of the sandstorm was all too thick and served as a veil of Khrona's own naten because it was part of his naten by the time it was being used. The light was a catalyst for the creation of the barrier the moment Zeik almost made contact with Khrona, which was why he was not cleaved in twain by the Hellfire ensorceled sword. 'Thanks To My Duplicates,' Khrona's mind's voice echoed throughout the gigantic pyramid, 'I Have Been Able To Study The Entire Desert, Resonate With And Absorb Its Naten Steadily, And Also Observe Every Fluctuation Of Naten That There Is The Moment It Happens.' Now, Khrona had dominion over the field, and with the contained Zeik, -- even if he was contained only for a temporary amount of time -- Khrona could maximize on the sealed naten and expand his own without any interruption from another source. 'I See All.'
“Bathe in light. Execution.”

-The circle engraved in the scorched sands encompassed the bulk of Khrona’s transparent sand trap and ignited that area in a blinding geyser of super heated light, ideally destroying the improvised sand prison and hopefully catching Khrona. Hellfire flowed from the heavens without pause given the unshakable foundation from his pentagram, with zeik and-hopefully his fleeting adversary at the center.

He remained within the boundaries of his mystic circle, unharmed by the cosmic temperatures that disintegrated everything caught within the blast, matching the temperatures of Execution by means of thermal equilibrium.

White flaming wings rested over his shoulders while his right hand tightly gripped the hilt of his Animus, which rested on his waist. He forced his eyes to remain open, despite the tremendousstrain they were under, begging for relief from the tireless scanning for Khrona’s clones.

The Mystic circle he carved into the sands should’ve been strong enough to keep Khrona in, if he were caught. No adept, nor veteran could shatter the binding laws of his spellcraft, it would take the sum of masters. However profound Khrona’s mind had become he’d be hard pressed for clarity, if he were trapped in a pillar of unending fire, moving at such speeds, that it only appeared as a column of blinding light.

"EXECUTION!" Khrona cried in synchronicity with Zeik, sounding both surprised and yet commanding at the same time. There was only a split fragment of a frame for Khrona, and to catch it, the once sleeping mentalist had to awaken from slumber. His eyes burst open with a violent light that rivaled the nigh instantaneous Hellfire with the thought 'RED!!' shooting from his brain, faster than words could carry. The Red Crystal Khrona from before substituted itself with the actual Khrona, who warped to a location unknown in all of the calamity. However, that Red Crystal Khrona was the scapegoat for the Execution and the lockdown of the Pentagram, trapping it and destroying it relatively easily under the pressure. Zeik's power was still formidable, and Khrona knew that he wasn't done there. No, this battle was just beginning.
Khrona’s screamed shocked him, almost sent his heart into a flurry. He’d never asked himself what he’d do if someone used the spell execution against him, fortunately that wasn’t the case. His opponent had switched places with one of his clones—narrowing escaping. The sight of it stirred a memory in his heart...

Just outside the bounds of the Pentagram -- by nearly a hair -- was the true Khrona, eyes opened wide and the Blue Moon hovering above his head like a cursor. It was a waypoint for him to warp to as he substituted himself with one of his duplicates, being the only saving grace Khrona had from the Pentagram and its Execution. 'Your Mind Is Open To Me,' the Great Mind spake again, bulbous eyes glowing, 'My Moon That Floated Around You Analyzed Your Thoughts Before And As You Made Them, Giving Me The Frames Necessary To Accomplish My Escape From Certain Doom.' It seemed like that was something Zeik overlooked when dealing with Khrona directly
Though he wouldn’t admit it aloud, khrona was in his head. His daughter, a gifted psychic, often poked at her fathers glaring weakness for mental boundaries and that weakness was only further exploited while using Origin Vision.

He thought back to a sparring session he held with Nagase, where her readiness for his volcanic outburst, despite his superior speed and expertise, left him exhausted.

“You’ve probably had this vulnerability since you were young, but most psychics lack the confidence needed to react perfectly to your impulses. Your instincts are a matter of marvel, which gets you by. However, great minds... WE do exists and they only need listen...given the sheer intensity of your feelings. Your thoughts are harder to protect while you’re using origin vision, regardless of your tenacity. You’re simply to connected to not be exposed, given Sirius’s estimation to the amount of visible light you’re taking in while using the technique. Keep that in mind when facing off against other psychic, father.”

He thought to himself from within the column of unending fire, his eyes still under the immense strain of Origin vision. Khrona was stressing him out, he was everywhere and damn near all knowing. He knew Khrona was still around, now doubt aiming some manner of cannon to repay his...generous invitation to nuclear war. If only he knew the actual capabilities of the clones or even which one Khrona had sacrificed.

“Instantaneous Body switch? How many of those does he—His Firing?!

Purple...' The Watcher. There was a flash; a light -- a gleam. It came from clear across the Acrix Desert and screamed toward the battlefield with exponentially growing power as it did so. This was a 'Crystal Gleam' from the Purple Crystal Khrona stationed at the Dunes. The gleam cut through the sands at first only as what light would carry it, and then... Ascending faster the closer it came. Tearing the sea of sand in half and parting it like the ocean, the light was aimed to do the same to the Hellfire that protected Zeik, giving the real Khrona an opening.
-The beam parted the sands as it raced towards its target, tearing everything in its path to twain. He was confident the pentagram could weather the first impact, but the initial blast...would be devastating at this altitude—he vanished with a single flap of his blazing wings, racing into the clouds— the crystal gleam hot on his ass, narrowing missing a flock of cloud nymphs.

“This’ll have to do—aaarrrrgggg!”

He screamed through gritted teeth, whipping his body around to meet the gleam head on with the tip of his Animus— halting the beam from leaving Vescrutia’s atmosphere. His wings sprawled out, roughly doubling their original size. He used thier strength to resist the push of the beam, however futile that may be. The beamed forced the Hellgate further and further into the heavens.

With a hole hopefully made in the Hellfire, leading directly to Zeik, another screaming projectile came rocketing from miles away, gaining speed and momentum the same way as the 'Crystal Gleam' had done before. It was the 'Crystal Bazooka', which fired off a homing explosive aimed right for the hopefully open Zeik Hellgate.

Khrona thought, breaking free of his cocoon at his upper torso, with the lower torso remaining swaddled in the crystal. He was still conserving energy, but he was using up quite a bit performing his techniques. 'Looks Like I'll Be Needing My Arms, Now...' he thought in passing.
“TWO?!—How MIGHTY!

-He said in surprise as the release of the crystal bazooka, was picked up by Origins Eyes. He couldn’t help but be amazed by the combat Potential and versatility. Origin eyes were detecting homing capabilities and exponential burst in speed the closer the naten got to him—He...couldn’t run, he wrapped himself tightly in his wings and braced for impact of the gleam+Zooka.

*Ka-DOOM!!!*

There was impact. The two attacks from Khrona had done more than what Khrona initially intended, which was a bonus and a blessing to him. He was pleased to know that he could still match fists with the best of them, and that his mind was as sharp as ever. 'A Bit More Keen With My Insanity Under Control, Wouldn't You Say?' Khrona thought. The two attacks were extremely potent given their properties -- one piercing and the other bursting -- so the veil of naten around Zeik might not have been enough. The Crystal Gleam was meant to pierce through whilst the Crystal Bazooka was meant to explode outward, blowing away the naten after the piercing through.

Khrona was expecting a counterattack, but Zeik had taken purely to defense. Odd, but not completely farfetched. Khrona could only anticipate that this meant Zeik was going to release something more potent after taking the hits, for Khrona knew that this was only a warmup. He must have been getting a feel for Khrona's power, but Khrona was still in his First Restriction -- one out of thirteen. He dared not enter the Pentagram like this, for he knew that it could very well be a trap that, as soon as he was led into the feint of Zeik's getting hit, would he attempt to ensnare or attack Khrona using the still very much engraved seal upon the desert sands. Fortunately, though, Zeik had taken to the skies. However... That might prove to be not-so-fortunate at the same time.
-The gleam chiseled through his Auric veil like the high powered laser it was, softening his defenses for the bazooka’s inevitable collision. His flames attracted as much solar radiation as they could to protect him;but, the combination of piercing and kinetic forces bombarded the Astral king, leaving him at the epicenter of the kaboom.-

Casting his Blue Moon up into the sky, Khrona continued to gather energy into his arm, which changed into the shape of a scythe gradually as he did so. Khrona gently, but briskly, floated up into the air, readying another setup for Zeik, since his Duplicates were still about. From the vantage point of the sky, Khrona could see the entire Acrix Desert with his own eyes rather than with the Remote Viewing of the Duplicates being used.
-The thunderous rumble of the explosions' tremendous yield came to a slow, gurgling, halt—while the tremors rippled across the desert, stirring all able bodied creatures to seek shelter. His flaming katana fell into the sands—landing at the edge of the pentagram below, still pulsing with the bright white hue of his aura. The clouds dispersed and revealed his bruised and unconscious body plummeting towards the ground below. His aura was completely gone and only a glint of origin vision remained lit in his eyes as he fell.

‘Purple...' Khrona thought out again, the crystalline clone serving as the extra eyes suddenly appearing in the sky, but still in the same position it was in at the dunes, 'Go, Now.' Without hesitation, the Purple Crystal Khrona would utilize the naten that was released from the explosions of the attacks around Zeik to enable a "Crystal Nightmare," where the very reality of the realm altered to that of one of Khrona's manipulation. It would happen in a flash thanks to the lingering naten, and would look like a specific nightmare to Zeik that would lead him to his road to ruin. The sky became dark -- pitch black -- and there was an illumination in the area where the Hellgate Tribe called their home. Without so much as a second warning, there was a massive explosion of pure crystalline light that shot up from the sands underneath them, engulfing a large group of them where they'd gathered and wiping them clean out without any questions asked. This is what Zeik would see as the nightmarish reality swirled around him, tearing his beloved people straight from out of his heart before his very eyes.
He was asleep, the best possible outcome for what his body had just gone through. Khrona probably sensed his opponents vulnerability to telepath’s and their powerful prying eyes;however, origin vision prevented the astral king from being deceived. The blackened sky and the blood on the air, it was all too familiar to the fall of Arcturus, his greatest nightmare. The night the horsemen declared war and leveled the ancient city, humbled the king. Yet still it invigorated an unstoppable beast—he knew he was dreaming;but, what the mind sees and experiences is reality.

The realization of the lie wasn’t enough to shatter its grip over reality. No—that requires the loss of everything, the collapse of his family. The legacy they had built over centuries being razed to the ground, the thought of it was all it ever took—to wake him up.

Tymon wrote:

Meanwhile, back on the ground, a thought was sent out to the stationary 'Blue...' which would cause it to act on the ground whilst Khrona, in the sky, oversaw. It was tasked with taking out the troublesome Pentagram, which would be the bane of Khrona should he succumb to its powers, especially on accident. That much could not be allowed, even if it meant sacrificing the Blue Crystal Khrona in the process. Therefore, the Blue Crystal Khrona was instructed to harmonize with the Pentagram's wavelengths using the "Crystal Heaven," allowing it to create a synchronous reality that would match the properties of the Pentagram and have them join with the reality that was being made around it. The 'Crystal Heaven' had a special capability of bringing complete unification with what reality it blended with, and could then alter the reality as seen fit based on the harmonious energies shared between the reality and what was cast within. The Blue Crystal Khrona may have had to sacrifice itself for this technique to work, but disabling the Pentagram was paramount when it served as such a threat, as it always had. The Blue Crystal Khrona that harmonized with the Pentagram using the reality of the 'Crystal Heaven' would suddenly, after completely assimilating with it, shatter along with the reality that it created, hopefully taking the Pentagram with it as they were destroyed. This was the last purpose of the Blue Crystal Khrona, since Khrona already had the schematics of the desert well memorized in his head.
His eyes shot open and instinctively he whipped his body into a spin. Still diving head first, he release powerful rays of light, which shot from his eyes in the form of a thin, high powered laser—the likes of which should have made cube steaks outta the blue clone he wisped by. “Ruination.” He said softly, his eyes affixed onto the real khrona floating in the air, sending the remnants of his lethal gaze towards the real Khrona. He didn’t wait to see if he successfully destroyed the blue clone—he didn’t have the time. He crashed head first ‘into’ his pentagram, removing the circle from the sands upon ‘entrance,’ and vanished—gone, leaving behind only his Animus still resting in the sands pulsing with the white hue of his aura.

All the while, the true Khrona, who still gathered energy into his arm, caused the scythe blade which was his left hand to grow gradually as it absorbed naten straight from the atmosphere and the Green Duplicate, readying Khrona for Zeik should he be able to break out of the 'Crystal Nightmare'... Or even, should he not.
-In the same flicker of time that he entered the pentagram, he exited the hellish lie or, Crystal Nightmare, Khrona aimed to distract him with and noticeably leaving his animus pulsing in the sands beneath them. A much smaller image of the pentagram appeared above the real Khrona’s body, leaving him but a moment to react to the lasers or His opponents shifting position. He exited the pentagram and continued the hand signs for Ruination.

“I can’t say for sure, but I think he was willing to sacrifice that clone. No way he anticipated it would survive tampering with my magicks , even if I were distracted by his Crystal nightmare.

I think I’m ready to strike the rest of the clones and the real Khrona;but, first….the incantation.

-His hands rapidly completing a series of mudra he created to connect to the Astral Plane.-

“Gaping Maw of the Void!”

'A swift slash of the 'Crystal Reaper' -- the scythe that was his left hand -- would cleave the astral marking in twain the moment it appeared, slicing through its actual wavelengths and vibrations as it was being formed, disallowing completion and for the subsequent attack that would have come from it to be allowed to form. This, in turn, dispersed the energy that Khrona had been storing up for his 'Crystal Reaper' in the first place, returning his hand to normal.
Zeik: "Hmph, I hadn't quite expected that."

He said from within the pentagram that khrona, temporarily stuck him in. "He cant hear us while we're in here--Diedren, wake up."

-A deep, gutural voice echoed in Zeiks heart as he knocked on the proverbial door of his Pact beast. It was a familiar experience for members of the path of Hearts, those capable of connecting to their spiritual presence.-

Diedren: It was no mere reflex that put such a halt to our spell. Your opponet shattered the mystic circle before it could fully manifest--effectively countering the spell. It should've been impossible to predict the exact timing."

Zeik:"He must be using hyper perception, that bastard. I had him.

Diedren:Hmph...past tense, Hellgate.

-They could feel the rumbling thud of khrona's peering eyes, but they lacked the perceptional prowess needed to interpret the communication.-

Zeik:"Even from within this space, he's trying to talk to me...it's causing distortions within this realm. We shouldn't stay here much longer."

Diedren:Did you seek my company or my strength?

Zeik:Khrona woudlnt have stuffed my technique if he hadn't sensed he wasn't prepaired for it, so....I'm sure he wouldn't leave himself vulnerable a second time, so...yes, I'll be needing your strength.

Diedren:hmph, you could have just said you were struggling, Hellgate.

Zeik:...We--We are in a struggle.

Diedren:agreed. Then....let me out.

-Without a moment's hesitation he clasped his hands together and began gathering naten, his Aura returning to it's previous blinding glory, completely drowning the blacken void in his presence. A large draconic creature could be seen pacing within the white sea of his flames, towering over the Astral King--contained only by the immense presence Zeiks aura created. The Diedren learned down to Zeiks level and looked him in the eye, narrowing his almond shaped pupil to a slit.-

Diedren: You're summoning me as a familiar? This isn't what I meant when I said release me, bring me into--

Zeik:"Stop! You're distracting me."

He said sharply, cutting the Diedren off mid sentence--his hands still tightly clasped to one another. He activated one master seal , binding the circle to the physical realm with a drop of blood that he offered from his lip. The master seal formed just beneath his palm, pulsing with the same white hue as his Aura. "We're leaving." He said as his hands gripped the circle, triggering a near endless series of portals on Vescrutia-- encircling the the battlefield where the real khrona patiently waited.

He stepped through the master seal, closing it on his way out and emerged on vescrutia plane--floating in the air, with his eyes closed and his legs folded into the lotus position. His pact beast, visibly seen gesturing to Khrona with his hand. The diedren was still bound to Zeiks Aura, his massive stature towering into the heavens--standing on the Astral Kings aura as a medium.

Behind them both where countless floating pentagrams, each charging up naten to cast ruination.

“Gaping Maw of the Void!”

- He said, this time with a thunderous and guttural roar--the likes of which screeched across the vast plains of the Acrix , bending the fabric of spacetime, visibly leaving lacerations on the heavens. "Gaping maw of the void" he repeated, releasing the same tumultuous uproar. Each mighty bellow resonating with the pulsing pentagrams cluttering the sky.-

Re: An Open Invitation

"You've opened." He said with a solemn tone, still floating in the air and surrounded by his mystical circles. The Diedren paced about within his aura, glaring over the battlefield carefully since origin vision wasn't active. He observed as Khrona made a desperate and foolish attempt to take control of the situation, springing from tear to tear as a flicker of light, leaving a trail of crystal heaven behind him.

The cracks created in the space time weren't weak points Khrona could seize control of, nor was zeik vulnerable to being absorbed into an alternative dimension. He'd rightfully bound himself to vescrutia when he used his own blood in the master seal, preventing him from distortion

His flaming katana fell into the sands—landing at the edge of the pentagram below, still pulsing with the bright white hue of his aura.
These steps bound the Hellgate precisely to this moment in time, making the tug of the crystal heaven's alternative dimension all but mute as the roots of his Spellcraft were so deeply engrained in his home reality.

"Yourself."

He continued his mudra unhalted by Khronas attempts at dismantling his spellcraft. And made no attempt at tempering his opponents arrogance. The webs khrona weaved, were those of his own demise.

As Whether or not Zeik was within this realm, Khrona WAS the entire thing, and it stretched out just as far and high as the Pentagrams. Whatever their bounds were was what the ends of this Crystal Heaven would be.
'Too Ruin.'

The archaic makaian script written on the pentagrams' innermost circle pulsed abright white before seemingly dissolving into the air and the ground around khrona's web. This was followed by a large black tear appearing over the alternative reality web that Khrona had become. Sound was the first to go as the rift opened over the hallowed land and hope followed in kind--as both flesh and light were summoned by the unmistakable presence of cosmic tidal forces. The pentagrams spiraled around the surrounding perimeter, increasing their rotation speed in response to the increase in gravitational forces --protecting the planet from the near immeasurable power of celestial gravity and ensnaring Khrona, the alternative reality web, at the epicenter of the gaping maw. Leaving him nowhere to run except deeper into himself, which was tragically bound...to ruin.

"Sadly, this is the end of the road for you." Boasted the Diedren. "Your terrorism and parasitic exsistence is here by BANished back to its origins." Bellowed the dragon, resting his oversized paw on Zeiks shoulder who remained in the lotus position "Breaking the binding laws of that circle are futile and that hollow land of dreams you call a reality will soon be completely ripped from this world, never to return."

All but unaware of his Pact beast's monologue, he remained in deep meditation--chanting in a dead tongue,"Protect those who aren't my enemy," endlessly. Soon after his body flickered, seemingly fading in and out of existence and exited the hotzone, appearing beside his Animus in the ground below.
