-She took a moment to survey the area, the ominous tone set by the sudden eclipse of the sun ,by a foreign celestial object no less, had done more than stir the city of Acrix. The neighboring communities in the desert had begun to mobilize their own defenses. Bubbleshields protected them from immediate danger and mobile infantry could be seen gathering outside of their homes.-

"They should keep their distsnce till we know what this thing is capable of."

She thought to herself as she formed a mudra for concentration with her right hand, before closing her eyes.

"I cant get into its mind. In some way...this creatures like a puppet."

She said with a whisper, one each of her teammates heard without much effort on their part. Over by the hulking menace, Alaudes gun unleashed a thunderous bang, which was followed by a slurry of black energy. A type of naten taught to him by the fallen lord of darkness. Yet the creatures reflexes were anything but sluggish, it defended against the beams of energy with evasion but also hurled literal tons of junk everywhere in its escape.

"...we cant hope to save everyone. Prioritize subduing the monster, i'll deal with the shrapnel."

She shouted, raising her voice over the agonizing sound of metal scraping against itself from the creatures rolling. She didnt want her team distracted by the other villages. Zeik sent them here to secure Acrix. Her eyes shot open as she released her muuda, she began grabbing the larger objects the creatured hurled at them and sat them down arbitrary. She used her hands as guides, directing her psyonic grasp over vehicles and glass that threated to skewer her teamates;but, the more the creature rolled, the more junk he 'threw,' at them.

"Is...that a fucking naval ship? I'm not...lifting that and it aint cause i CAN'T. I'm just not!"

She said with a snarl, growing increasingly frustrated by the sheer monotony of her experience. She turned a blind eye to the large boat now hurling towards them.

"We're gonna need to slow it down, so we can test its metal without wasting our naten."

She shouted in frustration while ensuring the survival of her teammates by preventing shrapnel from skwering them.

As the beams of black energy where quickly avoided by the large creature causing large amounts of shrapnel to fall off it towards his teammate Alaude would quickly sheath one of his hand guns. His now free hand would then faintly glow as he would point it toward the beams that where about to pointlessly crash into the ground. Using his power of manipulation over his dark naten Alaude would quickly redirect the corse of the beams causing them to being crashing into the larger hunks of metal Nagase could/did not want to lift. Upon making contact with the falling metal, the beams of dark naten would quickly eroded them into nothingness, or at least damage them enough that they would become light enough to be stoped by Nagase no problem.

"Slow it down huh...."

Alaude would say this to himself while beginning to move back as the creature began pursuing him, using his naten to make small momentary platforms to keep him airborne. Alaude would make sure to move in a direction away not just from Acrix but from all other cities in the desert quickly erecting barriers in response to the creature. Once getting a good distance away from the creature pursuing him, Alaude would move closer to the ground while putting away his other hand gun and clapping his hands together. A stream of black lighting would then begin to surge around his hands and Alaude would then touch the ground causing an alchemy transmission circle to appear under him in the sand.

The black lighting would then surge forward through the sand toward the creature in a large arc outward. However, this lighting was not meant to attack the creature but instead transmute the sand in front to the creature giving it the properties of quicksand. Of corse because of the size of the creature Alaude would not expect the changing of the sand into quicksand to completely immobilized the creature but was hopping the change would at least stager it.

It extended its arms in reaction to the blue charges of electricity, attempting to block them before they could harm its body;but, it quickly learned that the charges were altering the molecular structure of sand and not harming it at all. Its hand began to give way,but its sheer size awared him leverage. The golem pulled its arm free with a snap, yet its torso remain ensnared. Its eyes locked onto allaude, certain it was his technique coiling the sands. It began beating its chest, aggressively slamming its large hands into its harden metal body.

Crazed. Savage. It began beating against its chest and unleashed a dangerous, if not lethal burst of sound in doing so. The reflective steel coating its body began to match the same ominous shine of the eclispe hovering over their heads. Burning a bright red, searing the cooler air around itself. Within seconds the golem hid behind a wall of thick heat, smoldering the little moisture the dry desert had to offer, creating a suffocating 'miasma,' around him. It began to breath heavier, faster and the tempertures around it raced to lethal levels to any thing within 15meters of its chest.

Before the golem could mount an offense behind the ear shattering clang of its arms beating its chest. It was blind sided by a large shield crashing into its body. The force of which knocked the golem at its side, seconds before two charged fire-balls pummeled into its toppled body along with a large shield. Even amidst the flaming inferno that ensued from a direct shot. Drought could be seen standing, shedding only the metal scrap that cluttered its body. While its eyes peered from within the smoldering inferno, glaring at its opponents. Its eyes looked towards the sky briefly, before forming a symbol with its hands, soon after the metal it had lost along the fight began gravitating towards it. Crashing into its red-radiating body with such tremendous force that it veiled the beast in a thick sandstorm, but also continued to increase its temperture.

Inside the Boundary

Despite the calamity raging outside ths bubbleshield, life within the Boundary carried on without pause. The library on duty continued to disregard the unusal noise and hysteria outside of the Boundary. Either to lost in her literature or convinced the excess noise was a result of rough-housing from the drunken and reckless celebratory nature of the desert festival.

The few people within the library not connected to the astral cities task force, tried to ignore the crashes and booms of the obvious raging war outside their doors, but found this apathy didnt come so easy to everyone.

Allen, determined to learn of His namesake was lost in his own book. A tome written by an unknown author, that detailed the rich history of the founding none clans that made up the hellgate tribe. Which paid special attention to one clan in particular, the myotis elves and their long standing tradition of the blood moon. Elves have often fsced persecution from other humanoid animals on vescrutia, often depicted as beast instead of their true nature. None understood this persecution as deeply as the myotis, feared for their bat like appearance and hated for their nature as blood suckers. Yet, through time and personal dedication rhe myotis had managed to carve out a safe place for their blood rituals within the cove of the hellgate tribe.

They lived in hiding most of them, even from the other 8 clans within the tribe. Keeping their culture seperate from the acrix desert, even going as far as leaving all their literature unsigned. It was out of fear, they were always worried about who would take up sword against them for their apperence or their fabaled primal urges they experienced under strong lunar activity.

-If the golemn was going to constantly resummon it's armor, breaking it away from it's body wouldn't be as much of power move as would have hoped. The rising temperature was concerning as it would eventually heat up the sand to an insufferable degree, which meant it had to be stopped or it would take a toll on her teams endurance. Tempest noted the symbol the creature used to summon it's metal. If it needed it's hands to summon, immobilizing them could slow him down and give them a chance to strip the puppet down to it's bone and hopefully figure out it's weak spots.

As the winds kicked up veiling the creature from sight, she took this opportunity to get familiar with the sensation of the currents of wind in the area. Focusing on the space around the golem she took a firm stance, digging her feet into the sand for stability and began to cut into the air with swift and precise motions of her arms and hands. This would cause the winds around the golem to be redirected by her will. If she was able to take control the winds would become concentrated cyclones forming around the arms of the creature creating vacuous cyclones twisting up from the ground and forming around the creatures hands and arms.

The cyclones would funnel densely packed sand adding weight to the velocity of the currents. With this she attempted to both strip away at it's metal and hold it's arms in place.-

"I have no need of fear"

He spoke as he continued to read. It could be wondered about no longer. It spoke of a cove. A place known to only the Hellgates. The whereabouts of the Myotis elves. He must find it. It just so happened that there was a Hellgate here amongst him.

"Nagase"

She was the next stone upon this road he was to carve.

BOOM!

The Boundary shook once more. Things seemed to be getting rather rocky out there. Now that he had a name he supposed he needed to inquire further. They had no time for this. He walked to the window after placing the book under his right arms. Nagase and the Chaps freedom fighters where tussling with the hulking mass of debris. If he was going to get to his goal...that creature had to be destroyed. Thus he would perch himself on the banister of the open window. His naten began to rise. It began to condense and swirl around him visible to the naked eye. Like a flailing vortex of crimson essence life around him. He would now manifest two wings made of the bloody naten he was conjuring.

Allen's Aura/Wings

They spread releasing a powerful gust before he flew off just before the barrier. His aura palpitated as did his heart while he began to face his hands towards the ground beneath him. In the summit of the crimson glare of Xelphus his brazen fiery visage would add to the red hue that had washed over this place. Mere seconds later from two slits in his hands gushed forth a torrent of blood. It flooded the expanse, enveloping the sands in a flash of crimson fury. The sands began drinking of this concoction softening becoming a more fertile place of life.

"This...this has gone on long enough"

He whispered onto the howling winds as the blood further sank into the ground.
Before the golem could mount an offense behind the ear shattering clang of its arms beating its chest. It was blind sided by a large shield crashing into its body. The force of which knocked the golem at its side, seconds before two charged fire-balls pummeled into its toppled body along with a large shield. Crashing into its red-radiating body with such tremendous force that it veiled the beast in a thick sandstorm, but also continued to increase its temperature.
The heat was palpable rising as the creature whipped up a sandstorm around itself. It was seeking to protect yet preparing from something grand. Allen would not allow this to be so. By pumping his naten through his life essence he sped up not only the saturation speed allowing an almost instantaneous fester to occur but began preparation for something that would hopefully be that game changer. After the ground absorbed it the blood began to tunnel and feed all underneath it. It dug underneath the barrier making its way underneath the creature. Allen eyes flared with a bright green hue as Allen began to push his naten further in response to his call the blood became even more agitated growing and increasing it's power.
The cyclones would funnel densely packed sand adding weight to the velocity of the currents. With this she attempted to both strip away at it's metal and hold it's arms in place.-
"Hmp, seems she is more than just a pretty faced hume."

He snickered slightly as his being began to rattle with excitement. It had been so long since he could cut loose like this. These people, they were strong, talented cunning. Just who was this Zeik, and how did he amass such a brigade of beings? Another question to add to the pile that he already sat upon. His aura would flare once more causing his wings to flail. His eyes daggered at the beast before his lips spoke...

"Furious Culling..."

The Attack

A command followed by a closing and raising of his fist. In that moment a massive swirling geyser of blood erupted from the epicenter of the storm. The sand having been saturated with Allen essence two heeded this command as it became a swirling vortex of cataclysmic demise. The furious display of sanguine rage was coupled with the extremely corrosive nature of Allen's blood. The sands rich with his power was sharpened creating a nexus of slicing, shredding and melting away hoping to strip this beast of every piece of metal it was clinging to. Trying to find, expose and eradicate its core. Any of his blood that happened to be evaporated by the intense heat was carried on the swirling winds of the storm doubling the acids efforts to cull this beast. The cyclones that Tempest had conjured melding with Allen's blood creating an extra layer of fortitude for their slicing power and the corrosion was a boon as well. These combined efforts should be enough to at least turn the game into their favor. Then again, nothing was for certain. Allen was prepared to hold his position and this tornado as long as needed.

Even with all that was going on at the moment Alaude would take note of the voice that came through the radio piece in his ear. Listening to the voice as it spoke over the radio despite all the static, Alaude was positive this was not a voice belonging to anyone in their party. However, while somewhat wary of this stranger somehow appearing on the same radio frequency of the group Alaude would still take note of what it had to say before it disappeared.

"Drought...horsemen....golem."

Alaude would quietly repeat those words to himself, but before he could think to much on them he would look up to deal with the golem as it began to retaliate.

Seeing the searing wave of heat and 'miasma' moving outward from the creature Alaude would quickly jump back to make some distance between himself and the creature. As he did so his body would suddenly surge with black naten and from the center of his chest would appear a medium sized skull totem like object with its lower jaw attached to a sharp arched claw. However, just as quickly as the totem appeared a cracking noise would be heard coming from the totem as it would quickly separate into four parts being held together via Alaude's naten and a giant malicious eye would appear in the center of all four pieces. This strange entity that suddenly appeared was Alaude's animus simply known as Á Bao A Qu.

Image

Á Bao A Qu would quickly expand outward in front of Alaude becoming a defensive shield blocking the wave of sound, heat, and 'miasma' from getting any closer to Alaude. Due to this shield being charged with the power of Alaude's dark corrupting naten things coming in contact with the shield would quickly be corrupted, corroded, and destroyed by the shield of darkness, or at least hold anything harmful back from getting any closer to Alaude. Despite this massive shield acting as his own personal barrier Alaude could clearly see what was in front of him via the large eye on the front of the shield and his sensory link with it. As such Alaude could clearly see the combined efforts of Allen, Abari, and Tempest quickly engulfing the creature in a massive tornado of pure destruction. Alaude would crack a large smile seeing everyone going all out as such would almost fill obligated to fallow as well as he would clap his hands together being to build up a large amount of demonic naten which would cause black flames to flicker around his body. However, despite this build up of demonic naten beginning it would be completely obstruction visually by Á Bao A Qu for the time being.

(-Abari would flick his wrist upward as the large shield would rush forward back to him as he used this to not only block the sound and miasma that might have come towards him just in case. Once over the shield would dissolve onto one of his blades as it began to pulsate periodically. He proceeded to glide down back to solid ground and the moment he did took off at an impressive speed as naten could be seen on his feet. Using his prowess over earth he could be seen skating among the sand picking up speed as he was almost within reach of the super cyclone thats colliding with the monster. His hand clutching the hilt of the blade that's pulsating as he took one more step before jumping high into the air doing multiple flips in air causing him to rise higher and higher almost to the point where he could see directly inside the funnel of the cyclone.-)

(-Using all the momentum it took to get him up to this height, he drew and out from his sheath and out came a large concussive arc of of compressed light energy following the current of the cyclone it self. Once it made contact it began to break off and attach itself to various parts of the cyclone and create what looks like a laser show of light energy. The energy itself keeps getting stronger and stronger the more it bounces off the cyclone before heading to there intended target which was the beast itself. One might wonder where did Abaris shield end up going to but he simply deconstructed the barrier and added its solidification aspect to his light beam to pack even more of a punch.

Abari sniffed the air as he could sense the dark naten from Alaude as he made his way towards him behind his own shield and could see that he was charging something of his own.-)

(-As he said this an orb of lught began to form in his palm wondering if he add to the power that Alaude was making.-)

The towering beast’s armor released a loud screech as tempest’s gale like winds, bound his movement and ripped at his armored plated skin, prying steel from its skeleton with sheer force didn't come quietly. One after another, the astral task force bolstered the storm like winds, adding elements of corrosion and concentrated light to the mix. Amidst the cloudy mess of the savage winds, glared the eyes of a blank, pained emptiness. Its crimson glare, deadlocked in seemingly an arbitrary position, pierced through the raging, pearlike sands still swirling around its body.

Blood came from beneath the ground and stained the white glossed sand like an omen;but, Droughts core temperature was already well beyond the boiling point of blood before its untimely eruption. With such haste that it appeared instantaneous, gallons of naten filled liquid vaporized, creating a red mist that was quickly swept into the Savage winds that continued to pry at its armor. Despite the beautiful contrast of the pearly sands of the acrix desert and swirling red mist of the savage winds, the spectacle of macabre that Allens omen added was mostly contained in tempest skill. The incredible high acidity levels of the sanguine liquid allowed the winds to erode the metal on droughts back with unprecedented ease. Tearing the beast down to its literal bare bones. That’s all the creature appeared to be, as drought seemingly lacked the will to vividly detail its origin story to the Astral task force.

Yet as trapped and beaten as drought appeared, it didnt seem as if the fight was over nor that the creature recognized its defeat. It continued to stare menacing into the distance, seemingly right passed the very people who were trying to subdue it.

The corrosive mist decayed the metal bound to its body leaving behind its stone colored skeleton, while turbulent winds bound its fingers like shackles, casting a type of improvised silence on its offensive abilities. Its face, still vacant of any will or personality was contrasted by the sudden clenching of its fist. What the creature lacked in finesse it made up for in sheer strength, it seemed.

By now there were pools of toxic waste accumulating on the desert sands beneath Drought, boiling hot waste from the corrosion of literally cities worth of steel haphazardly bound to its body. Noxious fumes filled the air, which were swirled about by the savage winds that kept the golem trapped. These poisonous fumes, a dark mustard yellow, rolled across the sands as a thick fog. Racing towards the neighboring cities that lie just behind the Astral task force. The forming armies weren't properly fitted to deal with gaseous attacks themselves, nor were the outer cities barriers equipped to handle prolonged exposure to chemical ordinance, fear began to set in.

Drought's clenched fist crashed into the ground, though visibly staggered by the winds pressure, its strike released such tremendous force that it both solidified the shifting sands beneath its 'feet,' and released a wave of sand towards the Astral's task force. The impact released some of the waste into the air, causing showers of hot metallic waste to rain over the field.

The Sandwave created from the Bone Golems punch rapidly gained height, reaching as high as 45 meters within seconds. This rapid swelling served as a perfecting mixing agent for the white sands and the irradiated pools of waste at the golems feet , sending a river's worth of toxic, scorching sand, behind the fog of fumes.

Drought's previous strike hardened the sands beneath it, an opportunity it quickly seized by propelling itself into the air with another mighty crash into the sands, this time with two open palms. When its palms kissed the sands the sound of a thunderous crackle tore through the air. The snap of lightnings whip would feel like it cracked inches from their necks, in an ear numbing boom that instantly swelled from a tickling of the hairs on their skin-paralysing their nervous system in a stimulus overload that they were lucky to have survived.

It sprang into the air, and enjoyed its lavish advantage of height with a menacing smile, positioning itself to descend unto the hellgate village with a world ending elbow drop while the task force watched in horror. The thunderous whip the task force felt crackle against their skin carried with it brief paralysis to anyone close enough to feel the soundwave of Droughts palm striking the ground, interrupting their brains signal with the force of sound.

The screeching metal gave life to an otherwise empty husk, albiet an agonizing one. Tempest tried to pry the metal from the golems back and based of the sound of crying steel- she was more than successful.

"It sounds like you're opening the very gates of hell. I'm gonna see if i can open this thing up."

She screamed, ignorant of the futility of her attempts. Her cries couldnt've hoped to be carried to the ears of her teammates under such strenuous circumstances, not even with radio communication;but, tingles, as clear as the glaciers creast, unexpectedly ran down her spine in rapid succession. A sensation that always forwarned of calamity and death.

Her eyes sifted between party members, to the acrix city and lastly the amassing troops of neighboring cities--Her nerves guided by the rush of her intutive pulse, kept searching, hoping for a sign as to where the danger would emerge. Yet, her senses were lacking clarity and the train wrecked symphony of stretching, bending and crushed steel only further this atrophy.

She couldn't wait for a sign any longer, she had to go, she was losing the impulse. With haste her knees dropped to the sand, her eyes closing to the world around her as she fell into a deep trance. Symbols began forming in the sand, undoubtly inscribed with her mind amidst the inaudiable chanting she began upon her collapse. The symbols were that of her own, created to achieve what she thought was her greatest purpose, a desire that they hadnt been tested by just yet.

She felt the impact of Droughts fist punching the earth and was sure a towering wave of sand would follow in its wake, but... she had already started meditation and couldnt break it. Plus...she knew this wasnt the danger she had sensed. Her eyes remained tightly shut, rapidly shifting behind her shut eyelids as if she were feverishly reading the last chapter. The symbols she engraved into the sand began swimming acrossing the white sands and up her legs and arms, together they read -World Eater.

She quickly rose to her feet, floating just inches off the sandfloor. Her eyes an empty black void, while her arms and leg tattoos rapidly pulsed a bright white, luminously contrasting her dark brown skin. She shook her head, flinging blobs of translucent goo along the desert area she stood. It sparkled with an irradesent hue as it quickly amassed under her hair, seeping from her scalp and coagulating into a mass that rested between her shoulder blades. Five...six...eight large octupus like tentacles sprouted from the pulsing goo still amassing on her back. The tentacles appeared clear at times, while prismatic at others.

She darted off towards the golem, determined to cave in its seemingly unbreakable armor with the force of her unrivaled imagination;but, found herself frozen?

Roll to beat Paralysis: [Dice]1d20[/Dice]
The fear of death was quick to set in, hell she actually thought she had died and not remembered it. The noise was loud, indescribable painful. As quickly as the sound whisped passed her, so too did her connection to her body. Like a pebble in the pond, she skipped across the sand, sliding to a halt as the massive fog of fumes, pushed by the towering wave of sand, rearer at her door step.

"Hell...i still may die."

She thought from the helpless position of what felt like severe sleep paralysis. It hadnt crossed her mind that the tingle she felt was warning of her own death, not until this moment;but, as shame filled as her end would be...nothing was as painful as watching from the floor as Drought smiled from above. His elbow posed to decimate the villages barrier and pulverized every thing beneath it.

She opened a darkslit beneath her body, a skill activated by her intent, and fell into the rift, landing atop of the Acrix barrier seconds before the wave of sand swept past her body. She immediately felt the pressure of the golems desent and met the pain with a smile. If she could feel, then she was gaining control of her body. As the golems building air pressure pressed her body against the barrier, she found It incredibly difficult to move, given her muscle were adjusting from the paralysis. The tentacles, spouting from the sparkling goo on her back, raced towards the golem, growing larger by the second until they were sizable enough to grab the golem, should it continue on its path.
