-He rushed through the tight corridors of the tower that was connected to the rear of the hospital. The tower functioned as the cities energy source, drawing in the solar energy of the two suns. At the top of the tower sat Astral cities most advanced defense systems-ARCHER. He knew almost nothing about the weapon, his parents wouldn't tell him;but, they always said to meet them here if somethings wrong.-
"Im sure there in the skybox at the top of this tower;buy, im regretting my choice to take the stairs, i dont know where that paranoia about power outages came from when i got to the elevator."
He said to the many reflections of himself that now stared back at him from the white-glossed, reflective walls of the stairwell.
"...I could be jumping to conclusions about all of this, but i would have know if there was supposed to be an eclipse tonight. Come to think of it. Everyone in the city seemed pretty undisturbed by all of this. Even the hospital staffed looked more concered with me...than with the red sun looming over the mountains."
He thought to hinself as he cleard flivhts of stairs with his cat like ability, climbing the stairs with well placed jumps from his feet and hands. He arrived at the top floor, sweating and gasping. He caught his breath and composure before opening the stairwell door and walking into the hallway leading to the skybox. He could hear the sounds of fingers clicking away on the crystaline keyboards- the sound was unmistakable given the melodic hum it gave off.
"Someones already here...thats a good sign, i think."
-He said as he stepped past sensory deprivation room and pushed on the door of the skybox. The door, the same white gloss as the walls, near indistinguishable from the walls, scanned his palm and retinas before revealing a simple wooden door. He twisted the handle of the door knob and was transported into the sky box.-
