Faction: Utakatta Of Iah

Full Lore Here

Pillars:
Central: The Entire content is searching for the Artifacts of their ancestors, the Moon-Forged, in hopes of rebuilding the Monolith, A grand creation, not reduced to dust by the Horsement, that once focused the Stone Song and reached the heavens with its voice.

Contrast: Iah is a land of secrets and posing, where everyone has a hidden agenda and a public mask. Information is currency, sometimes more valuable than relics themselves. Their very deception is a Iahns bread and butter, and not as well fed as the Zolgrundy Dynasty.

Active: Where once all could perceive the Ishi no Uta over the many generations, many no longer possess the gift. A phenomenon known as "The Fading".Those who do are known as Utakatta and are highly sought, hired, or enslaved.

Traits:

Ishi no Uta(Stone's Song) Every inch of Iah is, in essence, a form of conversation. It is an intricate language, an ecosystem of various kinds of communication and melodies, constantly in flux. The very stone beneath our feet speaks to the plant roots that cleave to it, sharing nutrients, moisture, and even the subtle vibrations of seismic activity. The mighty mountains hum ancient tales to the winds that sculpt them. Our planet, in its vast entirety, echoes the intentions of the springs and rivers – their pathways, their depths, their very thirst or abundance are not just physical phenomena but expressions of a planetary will.

The Utakatta, or Stone-Seers, are those with the ability to perceive this ubiquitous language. It is not about hearing sounds in the conventional sense, but about feeling the resonance, interpreting the intention, understanding the unspoken dialogue that permeates Iah. It is a profound empathic connection, a sensitivity to the planet’s living symphony. Imagine not just observing a river, but sensing its desire to flow, its memory of past floods, its intention to carve a new path.

Classes: Utakatta has several recorded disciples that can be categorized into classes. However, it is believed that many expressions have yet to be discovered.

Rouges- Refined hearing, exceptional dexterity, living skeleton keys able to decipher the song of virtually any lock.

Druids- Also known as Exorcist. Able to interpret the Ishi no Uta to commune with nature and soothe it. They have many sub-factions, from those who assist in healing the earth to those who guide the Aware or even place Remnants to rest. They are capable of even emulating the form of other animals.

Mages- Though they interpret the Isha no Uta similarly to Druids, they are more focused on thaumaturgic manipulations, and their primary focus is on the four basic natures. Fire/Water/Wind/Earth

Warriors- Are masters of martial combat who have learned to interpret the Stone's power to increase their physical prowess. This manifests itself as heightened senses as well.

Warlocks- A forgotten and forbidden expression for the Warlock class requires the subjugation and manipulation of Remnants, the spiritual echoes of the imprints left behind by powerful emotions, as weapons known as Vexed. This is accomplished through the Warlocks' connection to the Duat, a realm known as the Afterlife, where the spirits of those who die on Iah return. The Warlock is the host to the Vexed, and while there is no limit to the number of Vexed a Warlock can hold, the more they host and the more powerful they are, the closer to madness of possession they are. It is a dangerous iteration that has witnessed more failed attempts than successes, as one must brave a Sorrow-Storm and live to unlock its power.
