Bio: Alphonse Arceneaux was born and raised to take over the Arceneaux Corporation, cultivated to Take over the family business from the age he could understand common speech. His father removed him from his mother’s care as early as he could be off the teat and began work developing him into a gentleman who could understand the importance of being mindful of the needs of his people. Millions of people rely on the Arceneaux family to provide them a way of life, and there are very few things that should take priority over that. Alphonse learned the lessons of his father well, becoming a very successful successor to the Corporation’s head. The business of warfare came to him like second nature, following in the footsteps of his ancestors and faithfully filling his station as CEO of the Arceneaux Corporation.
As he ruled the Backcountry cities and expanded the business of the corporation, he awakened a lifetime defining dream for his people, searching for a truly infinite source of energy for them. On his search for this new energy source, he met his wife, Gwendolyn, and grew more inspired to make his dream come true at any cost. Of course, with the support of his wife and his people to achieve this dream, he stepped forward on this path willing to explore any avenue to provide that for his people.

Re: The Arceneaux Family: Alphonse and Gwendolyn
Name: Gwendolyn Arceneaux
Tribe: Forgsten Family - This family has survived in the Mek mountain range for centuries, avoiding whatever part of the greater conflicts waged on Edo. They live high up in the mountains and build cities in the peaks of mountains far away from the rivers and valleys plagued with conflict below. The Forgsten family interacts very selectively when they do need to descend the mountain for resources only found in the lower altitudes, and are generally distrustful of others they meet. Because of this, they have a very tight knit family group and when one becomes family, they are expected to “Do as the family does.”
Pillars:
Central: CEO of the Arceneaux Corporation
Contrast: Running a business is killer work
Crossing: Devoted wife of Alphonse Arceneaux
Active: Under contract with Leviathan Order
Anthem: Induction Breathing - Through a special metabolism, the Forgsten Family Anthem allows them to produce induction heat through patterned breathing.
Faction: The Arceneaux Corporation - The corporation runs the underground cities in the Hyperion Backcountry. Built centuries ago by the Arceneaux Family Patriarch, Ulysses Arceneaux as a place for them to escape the harsh climate of Aeon. In its development, the Underground has evolved from a small city to sprawling network with a sophisticated technological structure to provide for millions of people underground.
Traits:
Heatforged - In a permanent state of high temperatures. Maintains a running temp of 200 degrees by breathing regularly. More intentional breathing can increase or decrease her temperature.
Hyperion Mountaincarving - A special skill developed by the Forgstens to increase the density of their bodies to carve directly into stone itself.
Arbiters: Your manifest will, (Human/Elv/Fae/Undead)
Unique Marks: Long, velvety, red hair; a small beauty mole beneath her left eye.
Bio: Gwendolyn Arceneaux married into the family long ago, devoting her life to the Corporation and their underground cities. The lessons taught to her by the harsh climate she grew up in were not lost on her, and she learned to appreciate every fortunate thing that could happen to her. She is a woman of strong character, convicted to follow through on her obligations with the whole of her heart behind it. Her strong devotion and clear thinking are what attracted her husband, Alphonse, and got her promoted to CEO of the Arceneaux Corporation. She wears the title with great praise, putting the health and welfare of the cities in the Hyperion Backcounty before her own, but not before her husband’s. Through it all, she still finds time to be a present mother and tries to play an active role in the lives of her children, pushing them to do well in life and succeed in whatever ventures they undertake.
