The Inuki Clan is one of the oldest surviving human lineages on Vescrutia, tracing their ancestry directly to the people of Ancient Vorelia. For nearly five millennia they have served as the world's foremost bulwark against the horrors of the Demon Realm, (otherwise known as Acheron), and have dedicated every generation to the eternal defense of the Breach beneath the Strata Mountains.

Pillars

Every Inuki must eventually confront the cost of duty. Whether protecting family, comrades, or strangers, the burden of sacrifice defines their identity.

Raised from birth to become existential guardians, many Inuki struggle to discover who they are beyond the battlefield.

-Crossing
The Inuki believe every generation merely postpones the inevitable. Some fight to preserve the balance. While others seek avenues to end the conflict forever.

Faction
-The Inuki belong to Stellar Warlords of Edo, and adhere to ancient Shamanic traditions. However, much like their counterparts (The Mizu Tsuki Tribe) they do not concern themselves much with the political prospects of Edo's endless civil war and only care about eradicating the Acheri, and protecting Vescrutia.

Anthem

-The Anthem of the Inuki is known as Moreaux's Blessing— an inherited manipulation of a sacred radiance capable of opposing all manners of otherworldly phenomena.

Unlike ordinary elemental manipulation, Moreaux's Blessing produces concentrated luminescence infused with Naten that can naturally erodes demonic essence, negative energy, darkness, shadows, as well as spectral entities while reinforcing the wielder's body and spirit.

Against organic creatures it exists no differently than blistering solar energy. But against demonic entities, it becomes lethal to the touch.

Arbiters

Common techniques among the Inuki include:

-Radiant Weapon Manifestation — Creates weapons of sacred light.
- Barrier Techniques — Forms protective fields against supernatural attacks.
-Purification Arts — Removes corruption and spiritual contamination.
-Exorcism Rituals — Drives out demonic influence.
-Celestial Mobility — Uses radiant energy for enhanced movement.
-Sacred Healing — Restores physical and spiritual damage.

The Anthem manifests differently in every member of the Clan. The greatest masters eventually awaken personalized expressions of Moreaux's Blessing that are unique to their individual soul.

-Members of the Inuki possess extraordinary resistance to corruption, spiritual manipulation as well as mental intrusion. Although not immune, they can survive prolonged exposure that would rapidly consume ordinary mortals.

-Experienced hunters develop heightened instincts around demonic activity, capable of sensing corruption before it manifests physically.

-Radiant Naten signatures resembling sunlight.

Government

The Inuki are governed by the Hall of Luminaries, an ancient council responsible for overseeing every aspect of New Vorelia, including military command, intelligence, diplomacy, religious affairs, historical preservation, and the defense of the Breach.

The position is not inherited by blood alone, but earned through wisdom, strength, and recognition by the Hall of Luminaries.

-The supreme commander of the Inuki military, The Blades of Vorelia.

The Divine General oversees:

-Military campaigns

They embody the martial strength of the clan and are traditionally among the clans strongest warriors.

Religion/Culturre

The Inuki worship the Supreme Deity, a celestial being believed to reside beyond the mortal realm in opposition to the endless darkness of Acheron. They believe the Heavens send forth angels to protect creation from corruption and destruction.

Among these angels, none is more revered than Moreaux, the celestial being who gifted humanity with the means to combat the Acheri.
